1. What is the difference between a VFD Inverter and a Soft Starter?
A VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) controls both the speed and torque of an electric motor by changing the frequency and voltage supplied to it, allowing continuous speed adjustment. In contrast, a Soft Starter only limits the initial inrush current and voltage during motor startup by gradually increasing the voltage, without controlling the speed once the motor is running at full speed.
